Permanent Residence as Retiree Pensioner

It is one of the simplest immigration processes, since it allows obtaining a permanent residence with the right to the Panamanian identity card, in a period of approximately 6 months from the presentation of the file.

The main requirement of this residency, as its name indicates, is receiving a pension or retirement of at least US$1,000.00 per month. If the pension is received in a currency other than the US dollar (US$) in Panama, certification will be requested stating that upon conversion, the amount of the pension is at least US$1,000.00.
